Garnacho visited Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Alejandro Garnacho was one of the main talking points during Chelsea’s Premier League match versus Fulham after cameras caught him in the early stages.
The Argentine attacker was at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, ahead of his planned move to Chelsea from Manchester United.
Garnacho is thought to have undergone a physical on Friday after Chelsea and United agreed on a cost of roughly £40 million. He reportedly signed a contract that runs until 2032.
The 21-year-old has turned down offers from Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Germany, as well as Premier League clubs, in favour of a move to the Club World Cup champions.
Garnacho sat in the stands for their match against Fulham despite not being officially introduced before kickoff. Meanwhile, some fans were dissatisfied by a first-half incident.

As shown in the image below, cameras caught Garnacho perusing on his phone while his new teammates attempted to find an opening against Marco Silva’s side.
Mark Goldbridge, a Manchester United fan and YouTube celebrity, commented on the situation, saying: “The Chelsea game is on in front of him, and he’s sitting there tapping on his phone. “I’m relieved Garnacho is gone.”
Here’s how other people responded to the incident.
A person posted, “This guy already making me angry scrolling on his phone instead of watching the game,” and a third added: “First view of Garnacho and he’s on his phone and not watching the match…”
A third stated, “Garnacho is such a funny boy. You’re set to sign with a club and are invited to watch them play, but you’re on your phone. That is your first impression of the fans on television. You can’t put your phone down for 45 minutes and watch your new teammates, lol.”
A fourth wrote: “Garnacho has just signed for Chelsea and is sitting on the bench, staring at his phone. Not even watching the game will reveal everything you need to know about his mentality. If I were a manager, I would not allow players to carry their phones with them during the game.”

A fifth added: “Garnacho was on his phone during the game.” And so the grumbling starts…”
Former Chelsea midfielder issues warning to Alejandro Garnacho.
Joe Cole, who played more than 200 games for Chelsea between 2003 and 2010, believes Garnacho must “knuckle down” if he is to thrive under Enzo Maresca.
Cole opened his interview with TNT Sports by saying, “He has moments where he looks sensational and outstanding.” We understand that Manchester United is perhaps not the best atmosphere for a young player right now. We’ve seen players like McTominay go and flourish.
“Garnacho has higher levels to reach. I think it’s a reasonable price for Chelsea. The lad is marked with question marks. I don’t know him, but I’m curious about the ins and outs of his camp, as well as how he handled being dropped by Manchester United. “I believe that needs to be improved.”
Cole added: “If he wants to work hard and become the best player he can be, he needs to come to a good environment, which I believe Chelsea is, and grow from there. However, there is a lot of rivalry for those wide positions.
