Beadle was forced off at halftime as Birmingham City defeated Lincoln City in the Championship.

Birmingham City manager Chris Davies provided an update on James Beadle.
Ryan Allsop replaced the on-loan goalkeeper at halftime in the Championship triumph over Lincoln City.
“He just got a knock, we don’t know the exact details of it, but it was enough to take him off in the game,” Davies said.
Beadle’s final action in the Blues’ 3-1 victory was to deflect Deji Elerewe’s equaliser onto the crossbar on the stroke of halftime.
“It was a very good save from close range,” Davies explained.
“When he stretches himself, it’s difficult to move the ball about. And it was a crucial moment right before halftime.
“You’re 1-0 up away from home. If that goes in, the game changes emotionally for both sets of players, so it was a pivotal moment.”

Davies also disclosed the cause for defender Dael Fry’s absence, as the Blues prepare to face Millwall on Tuesday night.
“He’s simply ill. Nothing big to say, but he’s sick and couldn’t make it today,” he said.
August Priske scored twice, and Alex Cochrane was also on target for the Blues.
As he reviewed his two goals, Davies stated it was a difficult decision to start striker Priske given to the Dane’s knock in the build-up to the match.
“First one was a good team reaction to them playing short from a goal kick,” he stated.
“We press to score, ricochets to him, and then swivel, and the nice thing about August is that he has two good feet, so if it falls on his left foot, it’s no problem for him because he’s comfortable on that foot.
“He’s confident in his ability to pick corners and accelerate.
“The second aim, a long throw, demonstrates athleticism, boldness, and technique, which is what the best do. So I’m quite thrilled for him.
