Sky Sports pundits have issued their verdict on Blackburn Rovers, including their predictions for the club’s relegation prospects.

Sky Sports commentators provide Blackburn Rovers predictions.

Two Sky Sports pundits believe Blackburn Rovers will survive the Championship relegation battle this season.

Rovers hold a four-point lead over the bottom three with seven games remaining. It’s a five-way race to avoid the final two positions, including Sheffield Wednesday.

Andy Hinchcliffe and Tommy Smith, speaking on Sky Sports’ EFL Essential podcast, believe Rovers have done enough recently to remain up.

According to Smith, Blackburn’s victory over Millwall might be significant considering they were on a losing streak. After giving Millwall some space and following it up against Middlesbrough, I believe they will be satisfied.”I believe you are correct about Blackburn,” Hinchcliffe added. That point versus Middlesbrough is about how they received the point. Despite being pummeled, they clung on and made their point. They’ll need more of that and can scrape their way to safety.”

So, who will go down? Both commentators predict Portsmouth and Oxford United will slip to League One.Smith admitted that he is concerned about Portsmouth’s situation.”They need to win quickly because having only one point in the last six games is not enough when other teams are gaining points.

“I believe Portsmouth and Oxford will be relegated. I just think the other teams have those moments and bits of quality that Portsmouth and Oxford don’t. “So I believe they will be the two who go down.”I agree. Hinchcliffe agreed that if the results were different, Leicester would be in the bottom three based on goal differential.I look at the last four games, and they still have Portsmouth to play.

If Portsmouth wins that game, they will face Hull, Millwall, and Blackburn on the final day.If Leicester loses, Portsmouth may be able to save themselves based on goal differential. It’s that close, but I’d probably go with Portsmouth, Oxford, and Sheffield Wednesday.”
