Everyone associated with West Brom will be hoping that their return to winning ways can help them earn Championship safety.
Last weekend, James Morrison’s side defeated play-off hopefuls Hull City 3-0 in front of a noisy Hawthorns crowd, with goals from Josh Maja, Aune Heggebo, and Isaac Price helping Albion secure their first league victory since the end of December and leapfrog out of the second tier relegation zone.
Since switching to a 4-4-2 formation following a crushing defeat away at Oxford United in Morrison’s first interim game, the Baggies have been much more free-flowing and dangerous going forward, while they appear to have struck the right balance in their defensive duties by keeping their first clean sheet in over a month.
Meanwhile, Albion’s ability to score three goals in a single game bodes well for the rest of the season, demonstrating that this club can be clinical and dominate opponents when playing in the appropriate system and positions.
Hope will be revived that the Baggies can reproduce their positive performances in the final eight games of the season.
One key game in Albion’s survival effort comes away to Blackburn Rovers on Monday, April 6th, with a 3pm kickoff.
A massive battle might be critical to both sides securing their second-tier futures, and Albion are expected to bring a large number of away supporters, having sold out their original 4,417 allocation.
The Baggies are currently in talks with Blackburn about expanding the allocation even further, opening up an additional 2,979 seats.
West Brom is in talks with Blackburn for more Ewood Park allotment.

West Brom announced today via its X account that they have sold out of their original 4,417 tickets for their forthcoming game against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
Albion have now stated that they are in discussions with Rovers about allowing visiting fans access to the upper deck, which has an additional 2,979 seats.
If this is granted, the Baggies might bring as many as 7,396 fans to Lancashire, hoping to encourage the team to another crucial three points.
The Black Country outfit has already provided free coach travel, with 30 coaches transporting fans to and from Ewood Park on the day.
Albion’s statement on X stated that the initial 4,417 seat allotment for the trip to Blackburn Rovers on Easter Monday has sold out.The club is in talks with Blackburn to open the upper deck, which has an additional 2,979 seats.Thank you for your incredible support, Baggies!”
West Brom bumper crowd could be massive for James Morrison’s men

There’s no disputing that West Brom’s away trip to Blackburn Rovers will be their most important game of the season, with the result potentially determining Albion’s fate in the second tier.
Since James Morrison returned on an interim basis, the players have rebuilt a bond with the fans, which was evident as The Hawthorns bounced during their annihilation of Hull City.
Playing with that type of passion and desire for the rest of the season should see Albion stay up comfortably, while the great backing of the West Brom supporters will seek to help drag the team through the remainder of this relegation struggle.
Over 7,000 West Brom supporters in an away end would be the club’s largest allocation in a long time, demonstrating their commitment to the cause and readiness to cheer this Albion team on every step of the road.
As long as the Baggies can keep the fans on their side with gutsy displays like they did against the Tigers, the audience can only help the squad claw their way back to the Championship.
