Sheffield Wednesday are considering a loan deal for Manchester City’s Stephen Mfuni.

According to The Star, the 17-year-old is garnering interest from the Owls as the January transfer window closes.

This month, the Yorkshire club has already signed one young Premier League player, Jaden Heskey, on a temporary basis.

However, the Championship side is still looking to bolster Henrik Pedersen’s team for the second half of the season.

The defender can play both centre-back and left-back, which might be vital given Sheffield Wednesday’s limited squad.
