Blackburn Rovers are looking for more signings in the transfer market as they battle to avoid relegation from the Championship to League One.
The Lancashire club remains in danger following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Watford, and they have not won since a 2-0 victory over Millwall in December.
Valerien Ismael’s team has been somewhat active in the transfer market, gaining Eiran Cashin on loan from Brighton and signing Mathias Jorgensen on a permanent basis from Bodo/Glimt.
Meanwhile, attacker Makhtar Gueye has left Blackburn to join Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua.
Blackburn Rovers make second bid for Barnsley star Reyes Cleary.

Rovers have identified Barnsley winger Reyes Cleary as an asset who can assist them avoid relegation from League One.
The South Yorkshire club is also concerned about relegation, as a 2-2 draw at Reading on Saturday left them only four points clear of the third-tier drop zone.
According to Alan Nixon on Patreon, Rovers are making a second attempt to sign Cleary, but they will have to pay more than their previous offer.
According to Nixon’s post, the Championship side has offered up to £1.5 million plus add-ons for the 21-year-old, while Barnsley is looking for closer to £5 million.
Bristol City may also enter the bidding at a greater price than Blackburn, with the League One club waiting to see how much the offer is.
The Robins may prioritise signing a new winger after losing Anis Mehmeti to Championship rivals Ipswich Town, who signed the 25-year-old to boost their chances of rapid promotion to the Premier League.
Bristol City should be able to defeat Blackburn Rovers in the Reyes Cleary race.

Cleary, a former West Brom player, has established his worth for Barnsley this season, scoring five goals and providing eight assists in 27 games across all competitions.
The winger also performed admirably as Conor Hourihane’s side lost 4-1 to Premier League giants Liverpool in the FA Cup third round.
It’s no surprise that two Championship clubs are interested in signing Cleary, who only joined South Yorkshire from the Baggies last summer.
Meanwhile, Blackburn demonstrated some ambition in the January transfer market with the additions of Cashin and Jorgensen.
Bristol City, on the other hand, may be able to beat the Ewood Park club to Cleary’s services, with the Robins comfortably in contention for a play-off berth and Rovers fighting for survival.
Following Saturday’s 2-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday, Gerhard Struber’s side is now just one point behind sixth-place Wrexham, who defeated Queens Park Rangers 3-2.
The Ashton Gate club’s chances of making the Championship play-offs for the second straight season may encourage Cleary to relocate to the South West rather than Lancashire.
Furthermore, given the Venky’s continuous ownership of Rovers, it appears unlikely that Ewood Park will outbid Bristol City for the gifted winger.
The Robins would be grateful to have Cleary’s talents in time for crucial games against Derby County and Hull City, while Rovers will aim to recruit the 21-year-old and avoid relegation.
