Birmingham City were busy in the January transfer window, securing agreements for Jhon Solis, August Priske, Kai Wagner and Ibrahim Osman.

Birmingham City are reportedly close to signing Jeremy Sarmiento.
According to Sky Sports News, the Blues have ‘reached a contract’ for the Brighton attacker, and Sarmiento is ‘discussing personal conditions’, but the ‘formalities’ have yet to be completed.
That comes after talkSPORT said the transaction was ‘very well done’ as they seek to outperform other Championship opponents. Middlesbrough and Stoke City are also linked.
Middlesbrough are looking into other options after attempts to recruit Sarmiento fell through on Tuesday, according to sister publication TeessideLive.
Sarmiento is currently on loan at Cremonese, having joined the club on transfer deadline day last summer, but has battled for playing time with the Serie A side. Indeed, he has only made seven appearances, with no starts.
The 23-year-old, who can play on the wing or as an offensive midfielder, joined Brighton’s development system from Benfica in 2021, but he has only made 21 appearances since then. I
He has spent the most of the last several seasons on loan with West Brom, Ipswich, and Burnley, helping the Tractor Boys earn promotion in the second half of the 2023/24 season.
He also appeared in 37 appearances for the Clarets previous season, helping them finish second behind Leeds United and return to the Premier League.
The Blues have James Beadle and Ibrahim Osman on loan from the Seagulls, as well as Eiran Cashin, whose loan was cut short and sent to Blackburn Rovers.
BirminghamLive knows Blues are interested, but we have not been able to confirm suggestions that a deal is imminent.
