Birmingham City dismissed Keshi Anderson from his contract six months early.

Keshi Anderson has left Birmingham City after the club agreed to end his contract by mutual consent.
The League One title winner had six months left on his contract, but the Blues cancelled it in January to free up space in their squad.
Anderson started the Blues’ 3-0 defeat to Watford on New Year’s Day before being replaced in the 77th minute, and he has not been in the last two teams, along with Marc Leonard and Lyndon Dykes.
Anderson has appeared in 19 Championship games for Blues this season, including seven starts, however he has unable to match his League One form from the previous season.
The 30-year-old scored seven goals and assisted five times in the Blues’ league-record season, putting Christoph Klarer in contention for Player of the Year.
Anderson made 92 appearances for Blues after joining the club as a trialist in the summer of 2023, when John Eustace was the head coach.
He is now free to sign with a new club before the end of the January transfer window, and the Blues will look to strengthen its wide department, which currently includes Demarai Gray, Patrick Roberts, and Liverpool loanee Lewis Koumas.
