Scott Brown, a Celtic legend, has fired back at Jamie O’Hara after the former Premier League player suggested that League One leaders Stockport County could win the Scottish Premiership in a Sky Sports broadcast that has since been deleted.

O’Hara, known for his outspoken commentary following a 15-year career with clubs like as Tottenham and Wolves, appeared on Sky Sports News this week with Celtic podcaster Paul John Dykes. The two were talking about prospective prospects to succeed Brendan Rodgers, with Columbus Crew manager Wilfried Nancy emerging as a serious contender.
Dykes hailed Nancy as a modern, forward-thinking manager, emphasizing Celtic’s ongoing appeal. However, O’Hara argued that Celtic were not the big draw that many believe.
“You’re saying it’s a massive club—it isn’t, and it’s shown,” O’Hara added, referring to managers who apparently turned down interest.
