Jude Bellingham reacts to Birmingham City post – it’s so clear how much of a Bluenose he is

Jude Bellingham has expressed his admiration for Birmingham City on social media, ahead of his brother Jobe’s return to St. Andrew’s with England’s Under-21 squad. The Real Madrid hero worked his way up through the ranks of his hometown club, becoming the youngest player in Blues history, and by the age of 16, he was a regular. It was clear early on that Bellingham was destined for greater things, which is why he only spent one full season with Birmingham before receiving offers from some of Europe’s premier clubs. Bellingham went on to sign with Borussia Dortmund, and after a successful few years in Germany, he joined Real Madrid, where he continued to amaze, with his club career peaking in 2024 when the Spanish giants won the Champions League. The Championship club shared the statement, along with a photo of the brothers, writing: “Once a blue, always a blue. I will always be proud of you, @judebellingham x @jobebellingham.” A post elicited a response from Jude, who simply added a blue love heart. Birmingham City has right to be proud of the Bellingham Brothers. Jude Bellingham for Birmingham City versus Middlesbrough It is a fantastic feat for any Championship team to produce a player that goes on to play for their country, much alone two, especially given England’s talent. Yet, Birmingham have done exactly that, with Jude Bellingham now one of the world’s best players after his exploits at Real Madrid at the age of 22, and there is still so much more to come from him in his career, both for club and country. Of course, Jobe is carving out his own career at both club and youth international level, and it would be no surprise if the two played in the same England team at some point in the future, which would be another fantastic achievement for the family and those at Blues who helped them along the way. Despite his success, Jude has frequently mentioned Blues and continues to monitor their accomplishments, indicating that he has not forgotten his roots. Birmingham’s ambition will be to get him back in a royal blue shirt before he retires, and while it appears unlikely at the moment, it’s not impossible considering Bellingham’s affection for the club.
