Yet, Birmingham have done exactly that, with Jude Bellingham now one of the world’s best players after his exploits at Real Madrid at the age of 22, and there is still so much more to come from him in his career, both for club and country. Of course, Jobe is carving out his own career at both club and youth international level, and it would be no surprise if the two played in the same England team at some point in the future, which would be another fantastic achievement for the family and those at Blues who helped them along the way. Despite his success, Jude has frequently mentioned Blues and continues to monitor their accomplishments, indicating that he has not forgotten his roots. Birmingham’s ambition will be to get him back in a royal blue shirt before he retires, and while it appears unlikely at the moment, it’s not impossible considering Bellingham’s affection for the club.
