Carlos Corberan has addressed rumors that he is connected to the open managerial position at Middlesbrough.
Although the Spaniard is currently Valencia’s manager, his job with the team is in jeopardy due to a recent run of bad play.
The top-tier team entered the November international break in 17th place in the rankings after losing all seven of their previous La Liga games.
The 42-year-old gained recognition as a very promising coach while working in England with teams like West Brom and Huddersfield Town.
According to El Desmarque, Middlesbrough is thinking about making an offer for Corberan after Rob Edwards left for Wolves, leaving them second in the Championship standings but without a head coach.

Despite Valencia’s recent slump in performance, Corberan has stated that his main goal is to turn things around there.
He has reaffirmed his dedication to the Spanish team during this trying time by expressing no interest in take over at the Riverside.
According to El Desmarque, Corberan stated, “I am totally committed to turning this situation around. That’s all I can say about any rumors.”
“Seeing Valencia in this state hurts us more than anything else, so we will do everything in our power to change this situation.”
It is acknowledged that if Boro were to hire Corberan, Valencia would be required to pay a compensation fee.
With his contract with the Spanish team expiring in the summer of 2027, it is still unknown if the 42-year-old would be willing to take over at this time.
Currently ranked second in the league, Middlesbrough is vying for promotion to the Premier League this season.
They ended a four-game losing streak last weekend with a 2-1 victory over Birmingham City, which put them back ahead of Stoke City.
On November 22, the Teesside team will return to action when they travel to Oxford United, where they will kick off at 3 p.m.

Middlesbrough would benefit greatly from the appointment of Carlos Corberan.
In light of this dismal sequence of results, Middlesbrough may be in a good position if Valencia decides to fire Corberan and change managers in the coming weeks.
Given his stellar record at this level, the Championship team would be well-advised to sign the Spaniard.
He led West Brom and Huddersfield to the playoffs, including a championship game while he was with the former.
If they could persuade him to sign, Middlesbrough would be pleased about Corberan possibly leading the team to the Premier League given their position in the league.
