Rodrygo has already told Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea which club he wants to play for next season

This summer, there have been rumors about the Brazilian star leaving Real Madrid.

If Rodrygo decides to leave Real Madrid this summer, he has apparently already decided which Premier League team he wants to join.

There have been significant changes at Real Madrid ever since Carlo Ancelotti was replaced in the dugout by former Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso.

Alonso managed the acquisition of three new vital players—River Plate youth Franco Mastantuono, Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen, and Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold—just days after he was formally introduced as the new Real Madrid manager.

However, Alonso is making other roster adjustments in preparation for the upcoming campaign, as the Spaniard aims to ruthlessly eliminate certain players from his roster.

One of those players might be Rodrygo, a winger who is reportedly becoming more and more irritated at Real Madrid and has identified the one team he wants to join if he is sold this summer.

Alonso has kept Rodrygo out of every game but one during the current Club World Cup, which has sparked rumors that he was thinking about wanting to quit the team.

The 24-year-old has since been linked to a number of Premier League teams, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool.

Before the Premier League season begins next month, all three clubs are reportedly exploring a number of new attacking players. All three clubs have been very active in the transfer window thus far.

The Spanish publication Diario AS claims that the Brazilian has stated that he wants to pick his destination if he is sold, and Arsenal is the best fit for him.

According to the source, the Gunners see him as the ideal replacement for Gabriel Martinelli and are willing to pay almost €90 million to sign him.

However, it’s unclear if Arsenal is as interested on Rodrygo as they once were, especially because they are anticipated to announce the signing of Chelsea’s Noni Madueke in the next few days.

And since Alonso hasn’t given any more details about his future plans for the winger, it’s still feasible that he will remain at the club and compete for a spot in the squad.

Alonso addressed the rumors following the team’s 4-0 loss to PSG, stating: “No decisions have been made about the future. In this Club World Cup, we haven’t rotated all that much, and things will be different in the future.”
