Roy Keane, a superstar player for Manchester United, has said that Kevin De Bruyne should sign for a surprising team during the summer.
Prior to the beginning of this month, it was announced that De Bruyne will be leaving Manchester City at the conclusion of the 24/25 season.
A total of six Premier League championships, five League Cups, two FA Cups, and one Champions League were won by the Belgian player while he was currently playing for City.
Since the news of his departure, De Bruyne has been connected with teams in Saudi Arabia and the United States, in addition to Genk, the club he previously played for.
Keane made a joke about the 33-year-old player considering a move to Manchester United before City’s dramatic late victory against Aston Villa on Tuesday night. Keane was speaking before the game.
A former custodian for Newcastle United named Shay Given was quoted as saying, “He has lit up the Premier League for such a long time.” This information was revealed by the Daily Mail.
It is clear that Kevin is not yet at the pinnacle of his career, but it is also clear that he still has a lot to contribute. This is a cause for concern for City since he has the potential to sign with another Premier League team.
It was at this moment that Keane made an interruption and said, “United? It would not be necessary for him to relocate.
Given then concluded by saying: “If he thinks he is still good enough he might think he can have another season in the Premier League.”
During the course of the weekend, De Bruyne disclosed that he was somewhat taken aback by the fact that City did not present him with a new contract offer.
It was reported by him that there was a slight amount of shock. Over the course of the entire year, they did not provide any kind of offer to me, and the club ultimately made a choice.
“Of course, I was a little taken aback by it, but I have no choice but to accept it. To tell you the truth, I still believe that I am capable of performing at this level, as I am now demonstrating, but I am aware that clubs are required to make judgements.
De Bruyne continued by saying, “It took me a week and a half before I reported it out, and it was not pleasant.” A member of my family was absent. Due to the fact that they were on vacation, it was a little strange, but it is what it is.
“After the decision was made and when I came out, it was more of a relief when I reported it to the outside world compared to when I knew and nobody else knew.”
This Saturday, City will return to action when they play Nottingham Forest at Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup semi-final. The match will take place this weekend.
