Mo Salah issues statement as Liverpool break the internet with contract announcement

Mo Salah has signed a new deal with Liverpool, and a recognised reporter has revealed how much he will be making in the future. Liverpool has broken the internet by announcing that Salah would remain with the club after signing the new contract.

Salah’s future has been the subject of persistent conjecture throughout the season, and at one point, the Egyptian player stated that he was “more out than in” for a position with the team.

There was, however, a good development in the discussions, and on Friday morning, the Reds made the announcement that Salah had signed a new contract. The announcement included the phrase “He’s staying” in addition to an image of the Egyptian sitting on a throne and the slogan “More in than out.”

Having signed in 2017, the player who had previously played for Roma is now on the verge of spending a decade on Merseyside, where he is attempting to smash even more records at Anfield. He has already scored 243 goals.

Salah provided an explanation for his choice to sign a contract by writing a piece that was published on the official website of the club.

What Salah had to say was, “Of course, I’m extremely delighted. At this point, we have a fantastic team. We had a fantastic crew in the past as well. However, I signed up because I believe that we have the potential to win further titles and I want to enjoy playing football.

“It’s great, I spent the best years of my life here. I played for eight years, and I’m just hoping that it’s going to be ten. I am having a good time here, and I am loving my football. My career was at its peak during those years.

I would want to express to [the fans] that I am overjoyed to be here. I appreciate your support. I decided to join up for this because I am confident that we would be able to win a lot of significant trophies together. We will continue to give it our all, and we hope that in the future we will be able to win even more trophies if you continue to show your support for us.

In the time that Liverpool has been owned by Fenway Sports Group, the club has maintained a policy that states they do not provide contract extensions to players who are above the age of thirty.

However, because Salah is still in amazing form and is having the finest season of his career, with 32 goals and 22 assists, the club has decided to make an exception for him.

What is Mo Salah’s earnings going to be?

During his last contract, Salah was paid a club-record amount of £350,000 per week, and there were rumours that if he were to extend his current deal, he would have to accept a significant salary reduction.

On the other hand, a well-respected writer named Ismael Mahmoud has reported that Salah’s monthly salary packet would in reality come with a raise of 12.5%.

“We heard that Salah’s potential salary in the new contract would be a fixed £400,000 per week,” the journalist wrote on X. It is thought that the journalist also has a strong relationship with Ramy Abbas Issa, who is Salah’s agent.

In addition, Ben Jacobs of talkSPORT stated that Salah has not accepted a pay cut, although he did not provide any information on his new salaries.

In spite of the fact that the agreement is expected to be the most lucrative in Liverpool’s history, it will be little in contrast to the amount of money he would have made in the Saudi Pro League.

However, it is evident that the former Chelsea player has unfinished business in European football, despite the fact that he was reportedly given a massive payoff of sixty-five million pounds.
