A former Reds winger, though, believes that the LFC hierarchy ought to pass over the French dynamo in favor of a former Manchester City star who has already exacted revenge on us.
According to Jermaine Pennant (via DAZN), Olise is not the best option to replace Mo Salah. Leroy Sane is the kind of person you need with more experience. That seems like a fantastic signing to me.
He moves quickly and can cut to either side. He was just incredible when he performed at the Emirates. He destroyed Arsenal. He would be a fantastic addition if he could defeat Arsenal at the Emirates in that manner. Even though Olise is an excellent player, I would prefer Leroy over him because he is familiar with the Premier League with City.

From his time at City and Bayern Munich, Sane would bring plenty of title-winning acumen to Liverpool. He is most known for having scored the goal that condemned us to our one and only Premier League loss in 2018–19, finishing second by a single point.
With 10 goals and 13 assists in 42 games this season in Bavaria, the 28-year-old has had a successful season (Transfermarkt). Pennant correctly highlights his performance against Arsenal last month, when he won a penalty kick for his side in their 2-2 quarterfinal Champions League draw.

The Anfield hierarchy may believe Olise has more long-term value than the Germany international, but the Reds’ recent transfer windows have mainly included players under the age of 25 at the time of signing.
The Palace forward has a remarkably high ceiling and has averaged more than 0.5 goals per game this season (nine in 17 appearances). However, his availability is more of a concern than his experience, as he has missed 21 games due to two separate hamstring injuries this season (Transfermarkt).
