In the course of his visit to Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo came across a person who resembled him and surprised the audience with his words to him.
At Al Awwal Park, Al Nassr played their first game since returning to action on Friday night. They were playing Al Shabab in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo was the one who entered the scoresheet, scoring the second goal for the home team to put them ahead by a score of 2-1. However, Mohammed Al Shwirekh scored a goal in the second half to make it 2-2 and ensure that the points were shared.
However, the behaviour of the five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or prior to the game became a major topic of discussion on the internet.
Ronaldo was able to see a doppelganger in the stands who was wearing a Portugal shirt with the number seven. This occurred while Ronaldo was warming up with his teammates.
Not only did Ronaldo recognise the fanboy right away, but he also proceeded to insult him in a video that went viral.
His words were, “Bro, you don’t look like me at all.” It’s not me that you look like. You are very unattractive.
Ronaldo responded to the fan by smiling and putting his thumb up to him. The fan did not appear to be bothered by the statement and proceeded to tell him, “You are the best.”
On the other hand, the cruel joke received a lot of feedback on social media, with many people being shocked by Ronaldo’s obvious lack of composure.
“Forced smile and pain in the eyes,” wrote a fan on X when they saw the video. Being called very ugly by the man whom he obviously looks up to to an extreme degree was enough to make the guy feel like he had died on the inside.
A subsequent comment stated: “Imagine glazing a man so hard that you fly to Saudi Arabia, buy a front row seat, do your hair like him, wear his jersey, and talk to him during his warmups only for him to call you ugly to the entire world.”
A third person concurred, saying, “It is insane to refer to one of your most devoted followers as “very ugly.”
A fourth individual chimed in, saying, “The final portion was so superfluous.”
As another person pointed out, “The fact that English is not his first language makes it sound barbaric.”
“Ronaldo, you are staying true to yourself. I guess when you are the greatest of all time, even the jokes are on a different level!” said a final user. At least the fan now has a tale to tell for the rest of their lives!
While playing for Al Nassr this season, Ronaldo, who is now in his 40s, has scored 26 goals in a total of 31 games. After 24 games, his team is currently in fourth place in the Saudi Pro League table due to their performance.
