Man Utd fans have finally lost their patience with Alejandro Garnacho after spotting his reaction to being substituted vs Real Sociedad

Having witnessed Alejandro Garnacho’s reaction to being substituted during the match against Real Sociedad, fans of Manchester United have reached their limit with regard to their favourite player.

During the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 match, which took place at the Reale Arena on Thursday night, United and Real Sociedad, both of whom play in La Liga, played to a 1-1 draw.

The first half ended without a goal being scored, and the visitors took the lead through Joshua Zirkzee. However, the lead was quickly erased when the captain Bruno Fernandes handled the ball inside the penalty area, which resulted in Sociedad receiving a penalty kick that was scored by Mikel Oyarzabal.

In spite of this, the most contentious moment of the match occurred only eight minutes later, when United manager Ruben Amorim made the decision that he had had enough of winger Alejandro Garnacho.

Zirkzee was able to coolly tuck the ball away after Garnacho carried the ball towards the penalty area and then pulled it back to give it to Zirkzee. Garnacho played a significant role in United’s objective.

However, it was evident that the Uruguayan was not pleased when he was taken off the pitch in the 78th minute, which resulted in United supporters criticising him on all of their social media platforms.

One supporter expressed their disapproval of the situation by writing, “Did not like Alejandro Garnacho’s negative reaction as he was being substituted.” There is no evidence that he is making any effort to alter his behaviour. Simply put, it’s a pattern that keeps happening.

Additionally, the sub was appropriate in this situation. He had five shots from good positions, but he wasted them all. His performance was inefficient.

Another individual concurred, adding, “Garnacho is a youngster with a big ego who is overrated.” Let’s get rid of him this summer and spend the money on a real attacker.

On the other hand, one individual asserted, “You will never be able to convince me that Garnacho is even fifteen percent smaller than Rashford is.”

As recently as the previous week, the twenty-year-old player exhibited a reaction that was comparable to that of coming off the pitch early during the Premier League match against Ipswich Town. He made the decision to walk straight down the tunnel at Old Trafford rather than remaining on the pitch to show his support for his teammates.

When asked about Garnacho’s behaviour following the match against Ipswich, Amorim responded by saying, “It was cold and wet, maybe.”

“After that, you will make the correction. Because we need to select someone to go out with, and because we also need to consider the set pieces, I decided to go out with them.

Garnacho was temporarily removed from the United squad earlier in the season due to issues with his behaviour. As a result, he was unable to participate in the massive local derby match against Manchester City.
