With Plymouth Argyle’s shocking upset victory over Liverpool, the fourth round of the 2024–25 FA Cup was full of drama and surprises, making it even harder to predict who will eventually make it to Wembley and lift the cup. The only Premier League teams remaining in this round of games are Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace, who will face Doncaster Rovers and Exeter City, respectively.
Brighton & Hove Albion, who pulled off a stunning victory against Chelsea, Manchester City, who avoided a possible banana peel against EFL League One Leyton Orient, and reigning champions Manchester United, who defeated Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester City, are all still in the running.
Among the 18 teams still in the running for the title of world’s oldest football cup are Newcastle United, Ipswich Town, Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, and Bournemouth. Before the fifth round, which takes place during the weekend of March 1st, Plymouth, Millwall, Burnley, Preston North End, and Cardiff City will try to do the EFL Championship proud.
When Crystal Palace and Doncaster Rovers play at Eco-Power Stadium tonight (February 10), one of them will reserve a spot in that round. However, the FA Cup fifth-round draw was held before to the start of that match; GIVEMESPORT has all the information about which clubs will face off for a chance to advance to the quarterfinals.
