Fans of Leicester City will be wearing yellow for today’s Premier League match against Arsenal, and the intention behind this decision has been made abundantly clear.

While the Foxes are currently battling to avoid being relegated back to the Championship for the very first time, the King Power Stadium is currently ranked 18th in the top flight table.

As a result of the dismissal of Steve Cooper and the subsequent appointment of Ruud van Nistelrooy, a legendary figure from Manchester United, Leicester are currently in the process of looking for their second permanent manager of the season.

The Foxes are two points away from safety heading into the match, which will take place today at lunchtime in the Premier League. Van Nistelrooy’s team will be welcoming the Gunners, who are chasing the title.

Before the game begins, the team led by Mikel Arteta will endeavour to bring the gap between themselves and the team that is currently in first place, Liverpool, down to seven points.

Arteta, the manager of the Gunners, is not under any illusions about the challenge that his team will be facing this afternoon, despite the fact that the two teams are at opposite ends of the table.

The following is what Arteta had to say during his pre-match press conference: “Very difficult. At home, when competing against top opponents, they make life extremely challenging.

I am very familiar with Ruud and the way he organizes his teams, and you can see the spirit that he brings to the table. There is a significant risk that they are still alive.

Foxes supporters are planning to demonstrate their displeasure with the game, despite the fact that Leicester will be the underdogs for the match. The demonstration is scheduled to take place during the game.

As Leicester supporters express their dissatisfaction with their club’s fall from grace, which includes winning the Premier League in 2016 and subsequently participating in European football, as well as the possibility of being a Championship club for the second time in three seasons, the action is being carried out under the banner of Project Reset.

As a part of these demonstrations, fans will be wearing yellow, and the reason why this color is being used has become abundantly clear.

The East Midlands club is owned by Khun ‘Top’ Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, who is from Thailand. Yellow is considered to be a significant color in the country of the Far East, and as a result, it provides fans with the opportunity to convey their message.

A vocal protest is scheduled to take place inside the stadium during the fourteenth minute of the game. This is in recognition of the fact that Leicester failed to sign Adrian Silva by a mere fourteen seconds during the summer transfer window of 2017. This resulted in the delay of the £22 million signing from Sporting to play for the Foxes until January of 2018.

Van Nistelrooy has expressed his gratitude to the fans for their right to demonstrate, saying, “Thank God, we live in a society where there is freedom of speech, and everyone who feels that they should let their voice be heard in a positive way is free to do that.”
