In an X-rated post-match tirade, Kevin de Bruyne vented his frustration at Belgium’s 0-0 draw with Ukraine.

Following a goalless draw with Ukraine on Wednesday night, Belgium just made it into the round of 16 for Euro 2024.

Belgium finished second in Group E as a result of the outcome, behind Romania, who won the group based on goals scored.

In the round of 16, the Belgian squad will play France and will be grouped with Spain, Germany, and Portugal in the competition bracket.

Additionally, captain Kevin de Bruyne’s response to the disappointing match has been filmed by a cameraman.

The Manchester City player remarked, “Listen, it’s okay,” to his teammates. The f***ing next game is ours to win. It’s alright.

De Bruyne and the Belgian team were jeered off the pitch shortly after the team meeting by their own supporters, who were dissatisfied with the group’s performance.

However, the 32-year-old was eager to highlight one important detail to Belgian fans on Instagram.

He put just one word next to a photo of the match: “Through!!”

He also pleaded with Belgian supporters to support the squad before the team’s exhausting round of 16 matchup with France during the news conference that followed the game.

“We just need them, there’s nothing else to say,” he uttered. All we need are the supporters. They will be necessary to defeat France. In the last three games, we required them. That concludes it.

“Our goal was to win the game. We have chances to score goals,” he clarified. We were aware that we might give up a goal, so we didn’t take any chances with the corner.

“You’re eliminated from the Euros if that occurs. We had chances to score earlier; it’s unfortunate that we didn’t take advantage of them. Now, we just need the supporters to stick with us.

In addition, he said, “We tried to find solutions out there up until the ninetieth minute,” in reference to the underwhelming performance against Ukraine. In the ninetieth minute, we even had two shoots, and Ukraine also had one or two decent chances.

“You don’t take any chances when there’s only one minute remaining. Although I can see why people want us to win, if I take the corner and they counter, everyone will murder me and tell me that I made a bad choice.

Thus, you have to exercise caution occasionally and take a chance on other occasions. You have two minutes left, so you better use your brains.
