After Bruno Fernandes rejected Al Hilal, Manchester United’s summer transfer plans were made public.
On Sunday, Man United confirmed that Matheus Cunha had been signed from Wolves.
After Cunha returns from his international assignment with Brazil later this month, the contract is anticipated to be finalized, subject to registration requirements.
The Brazilian forward’s Wolves contract had a £62.5 million release clause that was activated, making him the club’s first summer acquisition.
Bryan Mbeumo, who wishes to visit Old Trafford this summer, is the target of Man United, who are still looking for fresh players.
Man United is expected to make a proposal and start negotiations in the next few days, while Brentford is requesting a cost of around £50 million.

Fernandes seems to have committed his future to Man United, but they will still pursue Mbeumo.
According to Ben Jacobs, the club’s pursuit of Mbeumo is unaffected by the Portuguese rejecting Al Hilal.
“Bruno Fernandes rejection of Al-Hilal does not have any bearing on an expected bid for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo,” he posted to X.
“Manchester United never made an approach or bid, and their early window activity is completely independent of Fernandes, even if Al-Hilal advanced the negotiations before Fernandes rejected the offer.
“Naturally, several outgoings will still prove important across the summer due to multiple other priority positions to strengthen in.”

Man United would have received a £100 million transfer fee if Fernandes had accepted a position with Al Hilal.
Of course, since Fernandes has chosen not to move to the Middle East from England, they won’t be getting a financial boost from Saudi Arabia.
However, Jacobs claims that a number of Man United departures are still in the works as the team looks to generate money for new hires.
