According to HITC, Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly at odds over a summer transfer for AFC Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez.
According to reports, the Gunners intend to use this transfer window to recruit a new left-back in order to bolster their defence. But Mikel Arteta prefers to employ a center-back on the side rather than natural fullbacks most of the time.
Jorrel Hato was one of the names that Arsenal was linked to, but it appears that they are also considering Kerkez, a left-back by nature.
Arsenal has reportedly expressed interest in the Bournemouth player and has been closely monitoring his progress recently in preparation for a possible summer raid, according to the HITC report.
But according to the article, Chelsea and Manchester City have also indicated their interest in signing him, and Man Utd are also considering a raid for him. In order to close any possible deal for him, the Gunners will therefore have to contend with fierce competition from their competitors.

The 20-year-old was just signed by the Cherries, who are reportedly eager to hold onto their star player. However, if a £40 million bid is made for the player, they may reconsider. In order to sign him this summer, Arsenal or Manchester United will need to spend a sizable quantity of money.
In order to strengthen their defence before the upcoming campaign, the Red Devils are reportedly trying to recruit a new left-back in response to Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw’s injury issues.
Kerkez can contribute defensively as well as offensively. He is swift and effective when crossing the ball from the wings. The Hungarian is a gifted player with a lot of potential, so if either Manchester United or Arsenal decides to acquire him, they would be making a wise long-term decision.
He is still a very raw talent, though, and it’s unclear if he’s ready to go on to the next phase of his career just yet.
In order to strengthen their backline, Arsenal or Manchester United might be better suited looking into other options.
