Famous party animal and Ocean Beach magnate Wayne Lineker has gotten in touch with Jack Grealish of Manchester City following the news that Gareth Southgate had rejected him from the 2024 Euros.

This summer, Jack Grealish received an alluring lifeline after missing out on the Euro 2024 squad.

It comes days before England’s friendly against Iceland, when manager Gareth Southgate unveiled his contentious starting lineup, and it’s not good news for Jack. The 28-year-old Man City star was one of seven players who were left off the roster. According to reports, Jack was’stunned and angered’ by the move.

The midfield player showed up early for the England training camp because he thought he had accomplished enough in the last months of the season. Jack is reported to have acted “professionally” and acknowledged the manager’s decision despite his heartbreak over not getting called up.

Wayne, the younger brother of former England striker Gary Lineker, has made Grealish an offer when he is going through a difficult time. Partying with Jack is nothing new for Wayne, who is arguably most renowned for his love of summer beach clubs, and it doesn’t seem like he will be slowing down anytime soon.

A sports updates page on Instagram posted a picture of Jack and Wayne, both 62, that was shot at Lineker’s Ocean Beach. “BREAKING NEWS. Jack Grealish agrees 4-week loan deal to Ocean Beach – HERE WE GO,” they said as a caption for the post. The post, which has since received close to 25,000 likes, was quickly inundated with amusing remarks, one of which came from Wayne.

The billionaire and former Celebs Go Dating star said, “Excellent news.” George, Gary’s son, added a series of amused expressions to his comment. “Enjoy your self pal because Southgate doesn’t know what he doing,” a supporter said. One person wrote: “@jackgrealish should be with the [England flag] wtaf.” in the meantime.

Someone else wrote: “Go hit the beach vibes it’s better then looking at Southgate’s face in Germany.” James Maddison, Curtis Jones, Harry Maguire, James Trafford, Jarrel Quansah, and Jarrad Branthwaite—all of whom Southgate benched—join Jack. According to reports, a senior England player had spoken with Southgate to get his reasons for benching the boys.

But there doesn’t seem to have been a heated argument or altercation throughout the exchange. Declan Rice, Harry Kane, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden, and John Stones, among others, have been called up for the team instead. “All the players took the decisions respectfully,” Southgate remarked in response to his own decision.

“The guys are all elite players because they have the mentality that they should all be in. This season, some of our players have played incredibly well, while other players have had better seasons. We have a lot of alternatives when it comes to attacking positions, and Madders (James Maddison) and Jack provide something unique.

“Those were difficult choices, but we support them even though we know we could have taken a different path. Having to break that news to them was a horrible experience.”
