Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are believed to be keeping an eye on Viktor Gyokeres.
A fresh rumor reveals Viktor Gyokeres’ desired move, after the Sporting CP player ‘went on strike’ to force a trade.
Gyokeres has been the subject of considerable transfer rumors, with interest from a number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
It comes after the 27-year-old scored 54 goals in 52 matches last season, including 43 under Ruben Amorim in his first season in Portugal after joining from Coventry City.
He continues to dominate the transfer speculation mill, with his future taking an unexpected turn after a surprising report claimed he ‘went on strike’ to push a move elsewhere this summer.
Sporting CP president Frederico Varandas issued an inflammatory statement over the saga, accusing Gyokeres of ‘blackmail’.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are believed to be monitoring his status before making a formal offer.
The Gunners are looking for a new No. 9, the Blues want to reinforce ahead of their Champions League campaign, and Amorim hopes to rejoin with him at Old Trafford.
However, according to Portuguese publication A Bola, Gyokeres’ desired destination is Arsenal.
According to A Bola, conversations between Arsenal and the player’s side ‘had already proceeded but without any white smoke’.
That is despite their reported interest in RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, who is considered to be on Mikel Arteta’s radar.

It’s unclear how much Sporting CP would seek for the Swedish forward, but Varandas will not approve a transfer for less than €60 million (£51 million).
The latest revelation on Gyokeres’ future will come as a severe blow to Manchester United and Amorim, who hopes to work with him again after their time together at Sporting CP.
Manchester United have already lost out on signing Liam Delap, who has decided to join Chelsea.
Amorim’s team is also reportedly interested in Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, and Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta.
