At Selhurst Park, Man United is now behind 2-0 as Jean-Philippe Mateta’s incredible strike has doubled Crystal Palace’s lead.
After 12 minutes, Michael Olise broke through the Man United defense with ease to give the Eagles the lead, and they scored their second goal with similar ease.
Mateta found himself in a one-on-one situation with Jonny Evans, who idly extended a leg to thwart the attacker. The Palace player effortlessly slid past the defender and fired the ball past Andre Onana in the United goal.
