V!D£0: The moment the referee was spotted jubilating after Man City equalized against Arsenal as FA released statements from for his actions- He will be banned

Despite an Arsenal player receiving a red card in the first half, Manchester City lost ground.

After Jeremy Doku of Manchester City delayed the resumption in the first half, Paul Merson questioned why the player did not earn a yellow card.

Arsenal went to Manchester in an epic match at the top of the Premier League standings, hoping to defeat the reigning champions for the first time since 2015.

Erling Haaland gave the home team the lead after just nine minutes, opening up a porous Gunners defense, giving the impression that the dreadful record was about to be extended.

However, Riccardo Calafiori, the new player, scored an incredible goal out of the blue by using his left foot to strike the ball from just outside the area, across Ederson, and into the top corner.

Just before the half, Gabriel’s team took the lead thanks to a whipped in corner by Bukayo Saka, setting himself clear two yards from goal.

However, tragedy struck six minutes into extra time when Leandro Trossard was given a second yellow card for allegedly kicking the ball away, delaying the restart.

The legendary player for Arsenal, Merson, made a point during halftime to highlight how Doku escaped a booking for postponing the restart earlier in the match when he kicked the ball back into the Arsenal half and the referee waved play on.
