A UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector has been assigned to look into claims of indecent behaviour by Real Madrid CF players (Antonio Rüdiger, Kylian Mbappé, Daniel Ceballos Fernández, and Vinícius Júnior) during the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match between Club Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid CF on March 12, 2025, according to a statement posted by UEFA on their website on Thursday.
“More details about this issue will become available in due course.”

According to Spanish publication MARCA, Vinicius Jr. is being investigated for a “confrontation with the crowd” prior to and following the game, Mbappe for “touching his genitalia,” and Rudiger for “putting a hand around his neck.” Although Ceballos was spotted dancing with Jude Bellingham soon after the proceedings concluded, MARCA’s report makes no mention of his suspected offence.
