Trent Alexander-Arnold made his first La Liga appearance against Osasuna.
Following Real Madrid’s victory over Osasuna, fans noticed a significant conflict between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kylian Mbappe.
Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid for £10 million from Liverpool, made his La Liga debut against Osasuna after representing his new team in the Club World Cup earlier this summer.
He started every game in the United States except for the semi-final loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
On Tuesday, the England international made his debut in Spain’s top division.
Xabi Alonso’s squad defeated Osasuna 1-0 thanks to a second-half Mbappe penalty.
Mbappe is off the mark in the new season, despite scoring an incredible 31 league goals last season.
He may set his sights on a bigger haul this time around, thanks to the arrivals of Alexander-Arnold and Alvaro Carreras, who should provide plenty of opportunities on the flanks.

But Real fans are anxious about Alexander-Arnold, who was replaced in the 68th minute, crossing the ball into the area considering Mbappe’s lack of accuracy with his head.
One X user remarked, “Trent crossing the ball for Mbappe to head it #DoesHeKnow.”
A second said: “Trent and Carreras crossed the ball to Mbappe, who headed it. Who’s going to tell them?
A third person asked, “Who is Trent crossing the ball to?”
A fourth stated, “Trent should realise crossing with those attackers is pointless.”
Another person added, “This is why we need Gonzalo [Garcia].”

During the game, Alonso appeared to sense a problem and made an in-game tactical change, moving Mbappe to the right wing, where he appeared to be a threat.
Real begins their league campaign with three points and will return to action on Sunday when they travel to Oviedo.
Alexander-Arnold is anticipated to remain in the starting lineup after making his debut tonight.
Despite the issue against Osasuna, Alonso is unlikely to remove Mbappe, but he may include Gonzalo Garcia in his starting lineup following his performance at the Club World Cup.
