Top 10 sporting GOATs ranked with Michael Jordan only second on star-studded list

The top 10 sporting greats of all time were ranked, with Michael Jordan coming in only second place on the star-studded list. The first place spot went to a surprising individual.

According to Piers Morgan, who compiled a list of the top 10 sporting greats of all time for the Daily Mail in 2021, he did not include athletes such as Lionel Messi and Tom Brady in his list at all.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi’s rival on the pitch, was also among the top 10 players. Ronaldo, who is now 40 years old, had stints at Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.

Morgan, on the other hand, has ranked four sporting greats ahead of Ronaldo, who has taken home five Ballon d’Or awards over the course of his unprecedented career.

Usain Bolt, a legendary athlete in the world of track and field, boasted an impressive eight Olympic gold medals over the course of his career. Ronaldo takes after Bolt. In 2009, he set a blistering time of 9.58 seconds for the 100-meter dash, which continued to earn him the title of world record holder.

The Jamaican, according to Morgan, “managed to combine tremendous physique, speed, and power with a wonderfully charismatic personality” in order to destroy his opponents. Morgan says this was the key to the Jamaican’s success.

A three-time winner of the world heavyweight championship, the late and great Muhammad Ali holds the third spot on the list of current heavyweight champions.

“The fabulously flamboyant way he talked the talk, and his stunning influence on the global stage, that that made Ali special.” According to Morgan.

As a result of his career in the National Basketball Association (NBA), during which he won six championships with the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan is ranked second.

Morgan referred to Jordan as a “verifiable lunatic” and referred to him as “the second greatest sportsman in the complete history of sports.”

According to Morgan, the cricket player Sir Don Bradman is the most prominent figure.

‘The Don’ is the nickname given to the Australian player, who is widely acknowledged as the greatest batsman in the history of cricket.

There are a lot of people who believe that his batting average in tests, which was 99.94, is the greatest accomplishment that any athlete has ever accomplished in any major sport.

“He was a 5ft 7in machine who wielded such dominance that if he had scored just four runs in his final innings, his international average would have been 100, which in cricket terms is perfection,” Morgan further explained.

“On the contrary, he was doing nothing at all, demonstrating that nobody is perfect. That being said, Bradman came the closest to achieving perfection of any athlete in the history of the sport. Because of this, I consider him to be the best athlete in the world.

Ayrton Senna, a racing driver, is 10th on Piers Morgan’s list of the greatest athletes of all time.

The number nine spot goes to ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky.

Michael Phelps, a swimmer (8th place)

No. 7: Roger Federer, a tennis player

Seventh, Tiger Woods, a golfer

Five: Cristiano Ronaldo, a football player

4. Usain Bolt, a sprinter’s nickname

3. Muhammad Ali, a boxing champion

2 – Michael Jordan, a basketball player

– Sir Don Bradman, who is a cricket player
