Three free agent strikers Arsenal could sign after devastating Kai Havertz injury news

Following the devastating news regarding Kai Havertz’s injury, the following is a list of free agents that Arsenal may choose to sign.

Havertz suffered a torn hamstring while Arsenal was participating in a warm-weather training camp in Dubai. As a result, Havertz will not be able to play for the remainder of the season.

Throughout the course of this season, he has participated in 34 games across all competitions, making him an essential component of Mikel Arteta’s system.

Havertz is the latest player to join the ranks of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines. Arteta is already missing several key attackers for their campaign during this time.

In spite of the fact that the transfer window closed earlier this month, the Gunners still have the opportunity to acquire a free agent in order to address their problems in the beginning.

Arsenal has the ability to sign free agent forwards.
Following the conclusion of the winter transfer window, there are a great number of forwards who are still without a club, including a few names that are particularly notable.

A. Costa, Diego
To a certain extent, Costa is the most well-known player who is still a free agent. He is currently without a team as a result of his time spent with Gremio.

One of the most notable accomplishments of the 36-year-old is his time spent at Chelsea, where he was instrumental in the Blues’ two victories in the Premier League.

In his first season playing in England’s top flight, Costa scored an impressive 20 goals in a total of 26 games. He then went on to score another 20 goals in the English Premier League season of 2016–17.

The Spaniard, who was born in Brazil, made his return to the Premier League after playing for Atletico Madrid by signing with Wolves, but he was only able to score one goal during his time there.

Although he would only be a short-term solution, Arteta’s side would benefit from having him as a focal point in their team.

A. Perez, Lucas
In the event that the name sounds familiar, it is due to the fact that Arsenal has already had Perez on their roster. The Spaniard joined the club during the legendary era of Arsene Wenger’s tenure as manager.

However, he received only a few minutes of playing time in the league, and he only managed to score one goal in eleven league games. However, he did manage to score six goals.

Following his release from Deportivo La Coruna, Perez, who is 36 years old, is now a free agent.

A. Gameiro, Kevin
As a player who has previously competed in Ligue 1 and La Liga, Gameiro has never previously competed in England.

Following his release from Strasbourg, however, the 37-year-old player is also available to sign with a team as a free agent.

Before Paris Saint-German was able to take advantage of his services, the Frenchman established his reputation at Lorient. Prior to taking his talents to Spain, where he enjoyed a productive stint at Sevilla, he scored 19 goals in the league while playing for Paris Saint-Germain.

He also played for Valencia and Atletico Madrid during his career.
