After Wednesday’s Champions League play, Thierry Henry startled the CBS Sports panel by jokingly telling Kate Scott to “stay in her lane.”
In Wednesday’s two Champions League matches, Barcelona crushed Borussia Dortmund 4-0 and Paris Saint-Germain overcame a deficit to defeat Aston Villa 3-1.
In addition to host Scott, Henry, Carragher, and Richards were on duty for CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage.
In a humorous moment during the broadcast, Carragher answered a phone call live on air.
Henry also evaluated the odds of winning the championship for both PSG and Barcelona following their victory.
While praising his former team, he likened PSG’s Joao Neves and Vitinha to Barca’s midfield tandem of Frenkie de Jong and Pedri.
Henry went on to mention that he had predicted at the beginning of the season that Barca would be one of the favourites to win the Champions League, but he would not declare a winner.
Scott responded, “Shame you don’t make predictions, isn’t it?!”
“I don’t make predictions,” Henry said, before sarcastically advising her to “stay in her lane” in a playful remark.

After the putdown, Scott, Carragher, and Richards had a wonderful reaction to Henry’s astonished statement.
As Scott proceeded with his evaluation of Barcelona, pointing out the team’s one possible demise this season, he laughed off the Arsenal legend’s remark.
He continued: “But I still do think with the high line, at times, they can be a bit exposed but what they are doing at the moment is magnificent – especially Raphinha.”
With Hansi Flick not taking any chances, Barcelona has a significant lead going into the second leg against Dortmund next week.
He remarked, “No, we’re not in the semi-finals,” following the outcome. You can never predict what will occur. The sport of football is insane. We’ll need to perform similarly to today in Dortmund.”
“The most important thing is that we played very well,” the German manager continued. You score goals when you play like that, and that’s what took place.”
