“There has been a negative development [for myself] now, at least during the spring and since the World Cup qualifiers began,” he told the Danish newspaper Dagens Nyheter.
“There has been no progress, and it’s disappointing.”
Alexander Isak must demonstrate to Liverpool fans that he is worth the £125 million investment.
Even before his move to Liverpool, Isak was under criticism from fans and the media.
The Sweden international was one of the Premier League’s top attackers last season, and it was clear that Newcastle was hesitant to deal with him.
Although he eventually got his transfer, the way he approached it may have been better.
