The Premier League is a harsh league that necessitates tactical adaptability and resilience. Speaking with Betfair, the Englishman discussed what he believes is Amorim’s biggest flaw and how it may cost him his job.
‘I don’t believe they can afford to be beaten like that again this weekend. If they were, you’d have to be concerned about what the manager would face in the future. It is up to both the manager and the players, but I believe there is a lot in the system, and no matter what the manager says, he will not change his ways and will adhere to the system.
He’ll either die on his sword or achieve the success he seeks. At the moment, it appears rather negative, and I don’t believe many of those guys are suited to the system. Amorim knows and feels that he will either keep or lose his job. It’s a really interesting weekend, and he can’t take another thrashing like they did last weekend.
Mentioning that he believes the majority of Amorim’s squad is incapable of playing the style of football that the Portuguese man wishes to implement, this is the starting lineup that Amorim should field at Old Trafford if he wishes to restore the hope of the Theatre of Dreams faithful against Chelsea.
Goalkeepers and Defenders
They have won two of their four games this season, both thanks to fortuitous own goals by Fulham and Burnley, but they have also surrendered seven goals, despite having already faced Arsenal and Manchester City. Wholesale reforms are essential, and what better place to start than the internet.

Getting Mainoo on the pitch is one of the simplest moves Amorim can do to re-energize fans, as he combines youth and experience, offensive prowess and defensive solidity.
Attackers
Manchester United must make things happen after playing far deeper than under past managers, allowing Bruno to be in the half-spaces and around the edge of the box. A true leader who wears his heart on his sleeve, his creative abilities are unparalleled, and the opportunity to collaborate with Benjamin Sesko and Bryan Mbeumo is critical.
The aforementioned two should play with Bruno, with Mbuemo in a more attacking midfield role and Sesko as the key man up front. He has yet to score in a United shirt and will be hopeful that a few changes to the team might turn things around.
