Erik ten Hag’s future is becoming more and more hazy, and TEAMtalk is aware that Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho at Manchester United may suffer if he is fired.
The Dutch coach is under increasing pressure as the Red Devils are currently in eighth place in the standings and are headed for their lowest-ever Premier League finish.
One of the most talked-about stories of the summer will probably be Greenwood’s future. He was suspended by the team as a result of the events, and at the beginning of this season, he was sent on loan to Getafe, where in 28 La Liga games, he has eight goals and nine assists.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has promised to reevaluate his circumstances. According to TEAMtalk sources, Getafe plans to start talks with Manchester United shortly and is very interested in keeping him for another season.
Man Utd will decide in the summer and would rather sell Greenwood than give him another loan, but TEAMtalk can disclose that they will not accept a lowball fee and will only allow his departure provided a competitive offer is made.
We understand that the Red Devils will permit Greenwood to rejoin the team, presuming Ten Hag is no longer with them, if no club makes a suitable offer.

Atletico Madrid contemplates moving Greenwood; Sancho is uncertain
Like Getafe, Atletico Madrid has been keeping a close eye on Greenwood’s circumstances and intends to contact Manchester United about a possible deal.
The 22-year-old has also been strongly linked to Juventus, but according to TEAMtalk sources, the Italian team has not made him a top target, despite what some reports claim.
Finding a new midfield player is Juventus’ top priority this summer, as Adrien Rabiot is anticipated to sign a free agent contract in the next few weeks.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, is reportedly among the Premier League teams considering Greenwood as a potential addition to their roster, especially in light of Nicolo Zaniolo’s impending departure from Galatasaray.
The future of Sancho will also depend on whether or not Ten Hag is fired. After their public altercation in September, for which the winger declined to apologize, the manager expelled him from the first team.
Since January, Sancho has been on loan at his previous team, Borussia Dortmund, and he has been instrumental in getting them to the Champions League final.
According to TEAMtalk, the 24-year-old could play for Manchester United again the following season—but only if Ten Hag is fired.
Ratcliffe will wait to decide on Greenwood or Sancho until the manager’s predicament is rectified, but all signs point to a new manager taking over at Old Trafford for the upcoming season.
