As Leny Yoro nears a move to Old Trafford, Lille’s Angel Gomes has tipped him to be a tremendous success at Manchester United.
Yoro will join the Red Devils for £52 million after an agreement was reached with the Ligue 1 team. Yoro, 18, has decided not to wait for his dream move to Real Madrid, who had refused to accept the French club’s asking price. Instead, he is heading to Manchester and attempting to finalise personal conditions.
Additionally, Yoro has the unqualified support of teammate Gomes, who departed United in June 2020. Since then, he has been interacting with the child and has been astounded by how well, despite his young age, he fit into Lille’s first squad.
“As soon as he arrived in the group, I understood that he was going to reach the summits,” he had previously told Eurosport. I realised things were different when I started playing professionally for Manchester United when I was sixteen years old. He was already temperamentally correct.

Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Jarrad Branthwaite are all on their radar.

Yoro’s summer sale has already been confirmed by Lille president Olivier Letang. Yoro had originally intended to move to the Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid, but United’s charm offensive has won him over to the idea of moving right away—something that his club, predictably, also prefers.
