Six Premier League clubs interested in signing Jhon Duran from Al Nassr as surprise favourite emerges

Jhon Duran is being connected with a surprising move away from Saudi Arabia, just five months after joining Al Nassr, with six Premier League clubs reportedly showing interest.

The 21-year-old signed a lucrative five-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr in January, with the Saudi Pro League club agreeing to spend £64 million for the Colombian striker after a fruitful term at Aston Villa.

A number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea, were thought to be interested at the time, but the Saudi club won out with a package worth £16.7 million per year, or roughly £46,000 per day.

Duran has 12 goals in 18 games for his new team, which is a solid return all around.

However, according to Al-Riyadh, the striker has had troubles playing in Saudi Arabia that have ‘damaged his mental state and technical stability’, and Al Nassr is now considering loaning him out.

The magazine goes on to say that clubs have ‘indicated a willingness’ to sign the athlete before the 2025/26 season.

Premier League clubs ‘interested’ in signing Jhon Duran
In addition to the aforementioned allegations, Al Nassr is willing to authorize a temporary exit, according to TEAMtalk, which claims West Ham is one of six Premier League clubs pursuing Duran.

West Ham are reported to see the striker as a potentially ‘useful addition to their attacking lines’ and a man who can bring ‘energy and goal-scoring instinct’ to their side.

The Hammers failed to sign Duran in January after Aston Villa rejected a £57 million bid. Graham Potter, meanwhile, is a big fan of the player.

Wolves and Fulham, in addition to West Ham, are thought to be interested in signing the Colombian, as are three other unknown Premier League clubs.

Jhon Duran’s Next Club Odds
West Ham are currently 5/1 on Betfair to sign Duran this summer, while Arsenal are 4/1 favourites.

The Gunners are looking to sign a striker ahead of the 2025/26 season, with Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres both linked with a transfer to North London.

Duran, on the other hand, may be a more cost-effective option if a loan is available.

Tottenham are also in the running to sign the player at 7/1, with Borussia Dortmund [10/1], Manchester United [16/1], and Paris Saint-Germain [18/1].
