There have been rumors about Rodrygo leaving Real Madrid.
Amidst mounting doubts over his future, Real Madrid star Rodrygo has drawn interest from another Premier League team.
Rodrygo began the opening game against Al Hilal for Los Blancos during their FIFA Club World Cup campaign, but manager Xabi Alonso benched him.
Rodrygo’s future became the talk of town after Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain ruined Madrid’s Club World Cup campaign.
Arsenal reportedly showed ‘serious interest’ in signing the Brazilian forward this summer, according to a source last month.
On social media, journalist Ben Jacobs stated: “Arsenal has had exploratory discussions with Rodrygo since May and has a sincere interest in the player. Recognize that Real Madrid wants about €90 million.
Another Premier League team is reportedly now in the running for the 24-year-old.
Diario AS, a Spanish news outlet, claims that Rodrygo is being watched by Premier League winners Liverpool.
It has been implied, meanwhile, that the Reds’ interest in Rodrygo will depend on whether or not Luis Diaz is sold.
Diario AS said on social media: “Liverpool has shown interest in the Brazilian due to Luis Díaz’s potential departure. No bids have been received by Madrid.
In recent weeks, Diaz, 28, has been connected to teams like Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Liverpool is reportedly not looking to sell, but they might be persuaded to do business if their asking price of about €75 million is satisfied.
Liverpool has already acquired Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, and Jeremie Frimpong this summer.
In the meantime, players like Hugo Ekitike, Viktor Gyokeres, Marc Guehi, Rodrygo, and Alexander Isak are still being linked to a move to Anfield.
With players like Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko, and Rodrygo apparently on Mikel Arteta’s wish list, Arsenal is reportedly nearing an agreement to buy Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.
