
A new frontrunner has emerged in the race to recruit French midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba, 32, is presently a free agent after his ban expired in March.
The former Manchester United and Juventus player was initially banned for four years after testing positive for DHEA, a chemical that stimulates the production of hormones in the body, notably testosterone.
Pogba’s suspension was lowered to 18 months following a successful appeal.
Since his punishment expired, the 2018 World Cup winner has been linked with a variety of teams, including Newcastle, United, and Marseille.
On Friday evening, it was reported that Ligue 1 club AS Monaco had offered Pogba a contract.
According to transfer researcher Fabrizio Romano, AS Monaco has offered Paul Pogba a two-year contract, with talks already continuing. Negotiations and negotiations about the project will continue this weekend in an effort to achieve an agreement. Monaco is negotiating contracts with both Ansu Fati and Paul Pogba.

However, on Saturday, a new favorite appeared in the betting market.
According to OddsChecker, Inter Miami are the favourites to recruit Pogba, with odds of 9/4.
United (9/2), Marseille (9/2), Al Ittihad (10/1), Barcelona (16/1) and Al Nassr (20/1) are among the other clubs featured. The odds were accurate at the time of publication.
On Saturday morning, Romano provided another update on Pogba’s prospective transfer to Monaco.
He continued, “AS Monaco will insist this weekend on completing both Paul Pogba and Ansu Fati signings. Negotiations are underway.”
Pogba has made 423 club games and scored 73 goals during his career.
The midfielder has 91 caps for France, scoring 11 goals.
