The transfer story has taken a startling turn when a shock club that no one has yet revealed “dreams” of signing Viktor Gyokeres.

Numerous teams, notably Serie A team Juventus and Premier League team Arsenal, have been monitoring Gyokeres’ status, leading to a great deal of transfer rumour.

In an effort to strengthen their attacking options before the upcoming season, Juventus hopes to entice Mikel Arteta to Italy, but Arteta is adamant about acquiring a new No. 9 this summer.

After their time together at Sporting, Ruben Amorim wishes to rejoin with his former player at Old Trafford, and Manchester United, who are unable to provide European football, are also in the running.

Now that a new team has entered the fight to recruit Gyokeres, it looks like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Juventus will have more competition.

Gyokeres is at the top of AC Milan’s summer transfer want list, according to SportMediaset.

Although the 27-year-old has an £85 million release clause, his agent claims that he has been offered a departure fee of about £60 million.

Milan ‘dream’ of signing Gyokeres, according to Italian sources, and would be able to match Sporting’s asking price through player sales.

After selling Theo Hernandez to Al Hilal for £26 million and Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City for £46.3 million, Milan would have the funds to pay his asking price, according to SportMediaset.

Como, who are pursuing the signatures of Alvaro Morata and Malick Thiaw, is also expected to pay Milan about £34 million.

According to the source, Milan will soon receive £123 million from player sales, which will enable them to look into a signing with Gyokeres.

Given that Arsenal and Manchester United may offer a better pay, it is unclear if Milan will be able to entice the Swedish international to the San Siro.

After his spectacular 54-goal season last season, Gyokeres—who was on the books at Brighton before enjoying a great spell at Coventry City—became one of Europe’s most lethal forwards.

It came after an incredible debut season in Portugal, during which he scored 43 goals in 50 games while playing for Amorim.
