Ruben Amorim Used 12 Brutal Words to End Alejandro Garnacho’s Man Utd Career

Ruben Amorim’s vicious 12 words to Alejandro Garnacho, which ended his Manchester United career, have finally been revealed when the 20-year-old was outed in front of his teammates. Garnacho played only 19 minutes of the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham earlier this month, raising speculation of his exit.

Previously imitating Cristiano Ronaldo’s renowned celebrations, the Argentine teenager had long aspired to follow in his idol’s footsteps. And, after finishing the 2024/25 season as the Red Devils’ second most productive player, many expected his minutes to increase under Amorim, or at least be treated with the respect he deserves.

However, he and the club have been at odds since their failed attempt to salvage a disappointing season with a backdoor entry into the Champions League. It is now evident that the consequences are far greater than previously thought. What appeared to be a glitch could turn out to be a breaking point, as the winger appears to be the next to leave the Theatre of Dreams in search of greener pasture.

The details of a hard-hearted exchange have now emerged

Amorim convened a squad meeting at Carrington on Saturday, during which it was revealed that he had allowed the unhappy Argentina winger to leave Old Trafford this summer.

However, according to a Daily Mail exclusive, Amorim was so enraged that he effectively told Garnacho to hope to God he could find another club rather than return to United for pre-season training at the beginning of July. According to the report, he stated:

“You better pray that you can find a club to sign you.”

This comes after Garnacho and his brother, who also serves as his agent, publicly stated their dissatisfaction with the winger’s limited engagement at the San Mames Stadium. Despite playing an important role in United’s journey to the Europa League final, scoring once and contributing four assists in 14 appearances, he was benched in favor of Mason Mount for the final in the Basque Country.

Garnacho’s brother rushed to social media to express his surprise that the 20-year-old had spent 20 minutes warming up before being called on. The player himself later expressed his concerns in an interview with a Spanish outlet, fueling talk about a growing schism with the club, with bookmakers even offering bets on his next transfer.
