Ruben Amorim ‘makes shocking private admission’ to friends about Man Utd players and it will worry fans

It has been reported that Ruben Amorim has revealed to his friends a shocking revelation regarding Manchester United and the players of the club, which will cause fans to be concerned.

In November of last year, Amorim was given the position of manager at Manchester United, succeeding Erik ten Hag. He signed a contract that will last until June of 2027, with the option of an additional year.

He made a name for himself in Portugal, where he managed Sporting CP to great success, including a victory over Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Champions League. He then moved to Old Trafford, where he was able to bring his managerial skills to the international stage.

In spite of this, Amorim has had a challenging beginning to his tenure as manager of Manchester United. The Red Devils have suffered their most recent defeat against Fulham, who eliminated them from the FA Cup championship competition over the weekend.

The forty-year-old player is said to have told his friends that he believes he made a mistake by accepting the job, according to a report that was published before Manchester United resumed their Europa League campaign on Thursday.

According to Football Insider, Amorim believes that he should have waited until this summer at the very least and that he should not have given in to the ‘now-or-never’ ultimatum that was issued by Man United chiefs in the midst of negotiations.

It has also been reported that the Portuguese have been “personally shocked by how bad the players are,” as they had “thought they were much better.”

Since taking over as manager of Manchester United, Amorim has already suffered ten defeats, one of which was the elimination of the club from the FA Cup by Fulham. The championship-winning team was eliminated from the competition on penalties.

However, if Manchester United is successful in the Europa League, they may be able to save their season.

He insists that the club has ‘bigger’ things to think about, despite the fact that they will be facing Real Sociedad in the round of sixteen.

“People are looking at Europa League as the unique competition that we can win, also the connection with qualifying for the UCL,” he explained to reporters.

To tell you the truth, however, I believe that both of us have more important things to consider.

“I know it’s strange to say that, but it’s something that we are trying to build here, that is going to be more important than winning a Cup in this moment.”
