Roy Keane verbally dismantles England player after Albania game and says he ‘won’t be playing’ under Thomas Tuchel

Immediately after England’s victory over Albania by a score of 2-0, Roy Keane did not hold back when he provided a harsh evaluation of one of the team’s stars.

Fans got their first glimpse of what England will look like under new manager Thomas Tuchel on Friday evening, when the team played their first match under new boss Thomas Tuchel. The match was won by England against Albania.

During the World Cup qualifying match, the Three Lions defeated their opponent by a score of 2-0. Myles Lewis-Skelly, a star player for Arsenal, scored the first goal on his debut, and then Harry Kane, the captain, put the game to bed late in the game.

There is one player, however, that pundit Keane was not at all impressed with, and he has explained exactly why he felt this way. This is despite the fact that England demonstrated an impressive performance.

Tuchel made several surprising additions to his starting lineup for England’s first game since taking over as manager of the national team from Gareth Southgate. He gave debuts to players such as Lewis-Skelly and Dan Burn, while also bringing back players such as Curtis Jones.

In spite of the fact that they have not been particularly impressive throughout the majority of this season, both Phil Foden and Marcus Rashford started on the wings. This was the most significant decision that the German manager made regarding his front three.

Keane was not at all interested in hearing any excuses for the lacklustre performance, but both men showed disappointment in the match. Foden, in particular, failed to impress when given the opportunity to play in his unfavourable position on the right wing. Keane was not interested in hearing any excuses for the lacklustre performance.

It was suggested that Foden might be having difficulty because he is not playing in his preferred No. 10 position, which is currently being played by Jude Bellingham. However, the legend of Manchester United refuted these suggestions while speaking on ITV.

“Listen, Foden won’t have that problem coming up about where he will be playing because he won’t be playing,” Keane asserted. “He won’t be playing.”

There is a possibility that he is lacking in self-assurance. It is undeniable that he is mad. Even though his club form isn’t very good, we are aware that he possesses that quality. The majority of the time, when Foden is performing at his best, you are sitting there thinking, “Something is going to happen,” but I wasn’t thinking that tonight.

Whenever he cuts inside, he will typically either pick a pass out of the air or get a shot off. This evening, he did not do any of that, and whenever he was in possession of the ball, I found myself looking at him and thinking, “I don’t expect anything from Foden at the moment.”

“It is imperative that you have the ability to influence the game in a variety of ways wherever he is playing, and he did not do that tonight.”
