Rodrygo Decides Club He Wants to Join With Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea Interested

Despite being linked to three Premier League clubs, Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo has apparently decided on his preferred destination. Since Kylian Mbappe joined the team last summer, the Brazilian has been dissatisfied with his position in the Spanish capital, having dropped down the hierarchy.

Rodrygo Chooses Arsenal as Preferred New Club

The Champions League winner likes the move to North London

Rodrygo has made it apparent to those with knowledge of the situation that if he were to be sold, his top priority would be to join Arsenal rather than its Premier League rivals, according to a report from the Spanish publication AS. According to the source, the club is prepared to spend €90 million, which is more than £77 million, to acquire the forward and replace Gabriel Martinelli, a fellow countryman.

Rodrygo’s dreams of moving to the Emirates, however, seem to have been dashed when the Gunners agreed to pay £52 million to sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea. The England international was granted permission to leave the United States prior to the FIFA Club World Cup final in order to undergo a medical.

Consequently, it’s unclear if Mikel Arteta still has the same level of interest in the player.

Rodrygo only made three appearances and one start at the Club World Cup this summer, struggling to make an impact. Its lack of playing time occurred even though Madrid manager Alonso reportedly scheduled confrontational conversations with offensive combo Mbappe and Vinicius Junior because of their alleged lack of work ethic.
