Rio Ferdinand reveals brutal message Ashley Young sent to Nani in secret Man Utd WhatsApp group

Rio Ferdinand has disclosed the scathing message that Ashley Young sent to Nani in a WhatsApp group that was kept secret by Manchester United.

During their time at Manchester United, Ferdinand, Nani, and Young all played together under the remarkable guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The three former Manchester United players continue to communicate with one another through a covert WhatsApp chat, despite the fact that they no longer play together.

And before Nani was scheduled to appear on Ferdinand’s podcast, the former centre back posted a WhatsApp group in which he asked for questions to be directed towards the Portuguese winger.

The infamous photograph of Nani crying after being tackled by Jamie Carragher during a match against Liverpool at Anfield in 2011 was brought up among the topics of discussion.

Ferdinand provided Nani with this information: “You know what I put in the group, Nani… Nani, I put the picture of you at Anfield when you were crying.”
He concluded by saying: “Youngey [Ashley Young] just text back, ‘Why did Nani cry?'”

It was during a Premier League match that the vicious challenge took place, and Liverpool emerged victorious after achieving a victory by a score of 3-1.

The tackle was the only reason that Carragher was booked.

After the incident, it was only natural for the players of Manchester United to rush to the location in order to defend their teammate.

When they saw Nani crying, however, some of them, including Paul Scholes, distanced themselves from the situation.

On the other hand, Patrice Evra recalled, “Do you remember the time at Anfield when Jamie Carragher tackled Nani?

“I remember that he was butchered, and he came almost to breaking his leg. We began to argue with Liverpool players, including Steven Gerrard, and then Scholsey, who is Paul Scholes, arrived and saw Nani crying inside the locker room. ‘F**k that, let’s go,’ he made the statement.

“After that, Ferguson gave him a two-week break because he claims that he needed to recover from that. After all, we were waiting for him because in that team, we didn’t care; we were prepared to kill him.

“Because you know someone crying at Anfield… and even Ferguson, you remember when he said: ‘I hope your legs are f**king broken I really hope your legs are broken’.

“Ferguson always wanted to kill Nani when he was falling on the floor, saying you can’t be a United player and doing that.”
