“I spoke to senior people at the club,” he disclosed on talkSPORT. I had never heard of his name.
“I’m not saying it’s not going to happen, but I’ve got no evidence that they’re trying to sign him.”
Prior to having a successful season at Coventry City, the 27-year-old was on the books at Brighton. Last season, he scored an incredible 54 goals in all competitions, making him one of Europe’s most dangerous forwards.
It came after an incredible debut season in Portugal, during which he scored 43 goals in 50 games while playing for Amorim.
