The Blues posted the picture on their official Instagram account showing James undergoing training at their Cobham facility, as he progresses in his rehabilitation from hamstring surgery. The individual, who is currently 24 years old, has not participated in any matches since December 10th, when they were compelled to leave the game against Everton prematurely.
James has been consistently troubled by hamstring issues in recent years. Additionally, a knee injury prevented him from participating in the 2022 World Cup, and he has only made one appearance for the England national team since then.
JAMES’ STATEMENT
James recently shared on his Instagram account that he has been absent for some time, but he is currently in a good and thriving state. The trip has been arduous and challenging, yet within my capabilities to overcome. I am currently in a favorable situation. The resurgence is underway. “I am currently experiencing a heightened level of hunger. I hope you remain in good health during this time and I look forward to seeing you soon.”
James aspires to return to play this season and potentially secure a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the European Championship. Meanwhile, his Chelsea teammates aim to secure a position in another domestic final when they meet Manchester City at Wembley today in the FA Cup semi-finals.
