Real Madrid make stunning move to secure another huge signing hours after Trent Alexander-Arnold bombshell

As a result of the shocking information regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold, Real Madrid has made a remarkable move in order to secure yet another massive signing.

In anticipation of the reopening of the transfer window this summer, Real are already making preparations to make moves in the market.

The Spanish giants have had their sights set on Alexander-Arnold for a considerable amount of time, and it would appear that they are getting closer to completing the transfer of the Liverpool player, whose current deal will expire at the conclusion of the current season.

As of this summer, they are in discussions regarding the finalisation of the signing of Alexander-Arnold on a free transfer arrangement.

As the La Liga club works towards securing the right-back’s services prior to the beginning of the 2025/26 season, discussions and negotiations regarding the transfer are currently taking place.

The work that is being done to complete the deal is reaching the closing stages, and he has been made a priority target. This is despite the fact that a deal has not yet been fully agreed upon.

As Real are ‘pushing’ for the signing of another star player, it is possible that Alexander-Arnold will not be the only high-profile addition to the team.

Real are reportedly in the process of attempting to acquire Martín Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, as reported by the Spanish publication El Partidazo de COPE.

It was during the summer of 2017 that Liverpool showed interest in Zubimendi; however, the player ultimately decided against moving to Anfield.

Since then, Arsenal has entered the competition to acquire the 26-year-old player, and they are prepared to compete head-to-head with their competitors in the Premier League for Zubimendi.

However, Real are making a concerted effort to secure his services.

In preparation for the summer transfer window, his agent is reportedly listening to offers, as stated in the report.

According to the same report, Real Madrid is willing to meet Zubimendi’s release clause of fifty million pounds, and the same report also stated that he would be a good fit for Xabi Alonso’s strategies in advance of a possible managerial appointment at the Bernabeu.

The Spanish midfielder is the one who will make the ultimate decision.

Over the course of this season, he has participated in 38 matches across all competitions, including a Europa League match against Manchester United, and fans have provided their feedback on the player.

Following his graduation from Sociedad’s youth academy, Zubimendi was able to make his debut with the first team.
