Fabrizio Romano, a transfer analyst, “congratulated” Manchester United for overcoming La Liga champions Real Madrid in the fight to sign 18-year-old Leny Yoro.
Several European clubs were fighting for the adolescent talent, who appeared 32 times for Lille in Ligue Un during the 2023-2024 season.
Although Yoro was linked with a variety of Premier League clubs, Real Madrid was widely regarded as his most likely future destination.
