Norwich City fans have reacted to footage of new boss Philippe Clement addressing his squad for the first time.
Clement took over as Canaries manager after Liam Manning was relieved of his duties at the start of the November international break.
Manning was only appointed Norwich manager in the summer after leading Bristol City to their first Championship play-off finish in 17 years, but after winning only two of his 15 second-tier matches, he was fired.
Gary O’Neil and Jon Dahl Tomasson were both prominently linked with the Canaries’ position, although Clement eventually took over the Norfolk club.
Having previously coached European clubs such as Rangers, Monaco, and Club Brugge, this announcement sparked great excitement among Norwich City fans.

Following Clement’s appointment, Norwich City published film of his first day on the job, which included formalities like attending a training session, meeting his backroom staff, and addressing the team.
The Belgian discussed the players’ approach to the game and how they can return to the Premier League, which is their ultimate ambition at Carrow Road.
“I demand one thing,” said Norwich’s new manager. “If you want to play games, I need hungry, ambitious people in all roles.
“Not just in my and the staff’s ball training sessions, but also in your preventative exercises, power workouts, food, sleep, and rest.
“Because you are here in a club with goals to reach the Premier League. I believe you all want that. But don’t take anything for granted.
“It’s hard work, but the moment you start to love hard work, then you become a good player and you can go to that level.”
Given the euphoria around Clement’s appointment, this attitude appears to have risen even further after footage of Clement addressing his squad for the first time was aired, with supporters rushing to express their enthusiasm for the appointment.

The Canaries’ fans were certainly impressed by what they witnessed, with the 51-year-old’s elite attitude standing out from prior managers.
“Love this guy already; he’s so different from the rest of this mess of a club,” one Norwich supporter said.
“Different gravy when compared with Manning!” exclaimed another, drawing a direct contrast to Clement’s predecessor.
Jake Humphrey, a former BT Sports and BBC Formula One presenter, gave the speech his approval with the simple comment “Love this”.
There was even some sympathy from Rangers fans, whom Clement previously led. The Belgian managed Ibrox for 16 months but was unable to successfully challenge Celtic for the title.
“You’ve got a good manager there,” one Rangers fan claimed. “He was dealt a bad hand with us, so don’t be misled. PC, given the appropriate circumstances, is a superb manager. Best wishes to PC on behalf of BoldNBlue1872.”
“You will do well with Big Phil Norwich City fans,” wrote another. “Was given a bad hand near the conclusion of his ranger spell, and the board put him under too much strain. Definitely got a tune out of squad of players lost . Had a ding dong with Cantwell, which was unfortunate.”
Clement has a long way to go before he can pursue his Premier League ambitions with Norwich City, since avoiding relegation is the first priority at the moment.
However, he has the managerial credentials to thrive in the second tier, having coached at some of Europe’s greatest levels, and might prove to be a significant coup for the Canaries in the long run.
