Michael Gannon has revealed four key backroom personnel who Wilfried Nancy wants at Celtic.

The suspicions tying Wilfried Nancy to Celtic continue, with speculation building over the backroom staff he intends to bring to Parkhead. Celtic stated Wednesday that Martin O’Neill will remain interim manager while the search for a permanent replacement continues. An interview with Columbus Crew general manager Issa Tall could shed light on why Nancy’s probable move has been delayed.

According to journalist Michael Gannon, things are going well, and Nancy wishes to import four key staff members from Columbus Crew: his assistant Kwame Ampadu, coach Joan Damet, analyst Max Chalier, and fitness expert Jules Gueguen. Talks with Columbus about compensation are ongoing, which could explain the small delay.

Unlike managers Ange Postecoglou, Neil Lennon, and Ronny Deila, who took over backroom teams, Nancy is said to want to bring his own team to Celtic. According to Gannon, “There are a lot of moving parts, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s moving forward.” I still anticipate it to pass.”
